A dimeric proteomimetic prevents SARS-CoV-2 infection by dimerizing the spike protein

“It is an immense honour to receive the prestigious Inspiring Science Award 2023. I
am grateful to the jury members and the organisers at TNQ Technologies for recognizing my
research work on a dimeric proteomimetic design to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection. I want
to extend my gratitude to my mentor Professor Jayanta Chatterjee, and all my collaborators
and co-authors for their support on this project. I would also like to thank the Indian Institute
of Science for its infrastructure and SERB, the Ministry of Human Resources Development,
for financial support. This recognition has further stimulated my enthusiasm for the exciting
research.”
